This week, scholars withheld teaching labor for two days in support of the Movement for Black Lives and to direct attention to the need for racial justice in the academy and society at large. In support of the scholar strike, I lectured for about an hour on white supremacist frameworks in LGBT history-telling. Unfortunately, I had computer problems midway through, and the last 30 minutes of the lecture I was not actually broadcasting anymore.
